Computer Training Programs for Youth

E-Learning Computer Training Centres

The GTA Faith Alliance has launched a GTA Computer Centre. It offers a FREE PC Maintenance & Repair computer training course, and a Youth Employment Skills Program. We are located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We are funded in part by the Regional Municipality of York through the New Agency Development Fund.

The PC Maintenance & Repair Program Offers:
Opportunities for youths, ages 12 to 28 to gain employable skills, including:

  • Counselling support services,
  • Work placement,
  • Hands-on job training,
  • Self employment training,
  • Access to computer lab with High Speed Internet.

Computer Repair Certification Training

This program prepares students for the workforce by providing them with a certificate in computer repair and maintenance. This program supports the latest skills needed by today’s computer support professionals. This computer repair certificate program provides young technicians with the ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventative maintenance, and basic networking.
